In the event, Dusty finds competitors who soon learn that there is something special about this underdog as he is tested to his physical and emotional limits. In doing so, Dusty soon finds enemies, and more importantly friends, who are inspired by his dream. In the face of all obstacles, the winner of this air race will be anyone's guess.

First of all this is a movie that is not an original idea but not much movies nowadays are. If you go into this movie without any expectations then you will like it more. It does have some predicable parts but what movie doesn't. It has good humor and some great race scenes. I would have liked to see more references to the movie Cars because it takes place in the world of Cars. Though you would like it more if you were a kid. It seems like this movie was more for kids than Cars but it has some great stuff for adults too. I mostly go to the movies to be entertained and that is what Planes did. I also went to see it with a friend and he liked it as well. I never thought Disney would get Dane Cook to do a voice but they did and he did do a good job.
